Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan couldn’t cast his vote in the BMC Election 2017 on Tuesday. The ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ actor reached his poll booth in Bandra, Mumbai but wasn’t able to vote.
Varun Dhawan told reporters present at the polling booth that he couldn’t vote as his name was missing from the voter list. Varun Dhawan said he was upset and that he found it bizarre that his name is missing. Varun Dhawan added that he will find out from the Election Commission why his name isn’t there.
Rohit Dhawan casts his vote
While Varun’s brother Rohit Dhawan had his name in the list, he casted his vote.
Varun Dhawan also had an embarrassing moment when he said on camera that he voted in Rajya Sabha elections last year, though he meant Lok Sabha elections. A Twitter user termed it as Varun’s ‘Alia moment’.
I was wrong I meant lok sabha. My bad sorry. https://t.co/2Mm9mAEMLx
