A crisis situation in real life that is in fact quite funny.
It’s too funny. I could have lost a very dear friend. Some days back, she messaged me “dads over” and for some random reason I assumed she’s saying dads over (passed away). I started writing a long message “be strong, we always will miss our father, when they are gone it’s hard but time passes”. She said, “So true”. And for some time, the messages continued. She was messaging me about her dad coming over for a visit and leaving in a day or two. And I was messaging assuming her dad has passed to the spirit world. I thank my angels that I had not written ‘RIP’. After a long chat she messaged “dad saying come over for dinner and please cook for him rajma biryani as he would love to have that”. And I got so emotional and told her “will make for the whole crowd” and then she said “No only we three, and she went on FaceTime and I realised it’s dad on the chat. I got goosebumps. That is when it clicked to me “dad is over” also means “dad has come home”.
