Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) bringing Raman (Karan Patel) inside the room. He asks her who signed the papers? Nidhi (Pavitra Punia) tells them to shut up and asks where is Sohail? Raman says ask Salman (Salman Khan). She gets annoyed seeing them so intoxicated. Ishita says see Nidhi is here. Raman says she is a bad woman. Nidhi scolds Raman and Ishita tells her to apologize to Raman. She runs behind Nidhi with a pillow to beat her up. Nidhi leaves the room. A man stops Nidhi outside the Bhalla house and asks who is she? Nidhi says I am Mani’s secretary and I came to use the washroom. Nidhi gives an excuse and goes. Later, she overhears the man telling someone that he did not see Nidhi at the party. Nidhi understands it might be Ishita’s plan to get her caught. Shagun tells Mani that she is feeling unwell and wants to go home. Mani thinks he cannot go home without Nidhi/Trisha. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) gets annoyed and says she is not a baby that you need to bring her along.
Gulab Singh, the kidnapper applies Holi colours on his face and spots Pihu outside the society having Kulfi. She texts Pihu saying she wants Kulfi. Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan) decides to get Kulfi for Raman/Gulabo. Mani tells Nidhi to go home. She says I will return later after teaching Ishita a lesson. Nidhi/Trisha sees Pihu going out with the Kulfi. She sees the kidnapper in Gulabo’s garb and rushes to him. He feeds her laddoos and Pihu recognises that it is someone else. The kidnapper says your father has sent me. Pihu goes to get her phone and the kidnapper thinks that Pihu will be finally his. Ishita and Raman are intoxicated in their room and fooling around. They share some cute moments in the bath tub.
Mrs Bhalla and Mrs Iyer are enjoying the festival to the hilt. Aaliya says she will get food for them. She feeds them chaat. Adi tells Aaliya to come and taste the rasam. Mrs Iyer offers to taste it but Mrs Santoshi stops her. She says Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) and Adi (Abhishek Verma) want to spend time together. Ishita is muttering something in Tamilian and Raman is frustrated. He says I will never leave you alone. Outside, the kidnapper tells someone that Pihu’s father used his name and now we will use her. He tells someone to bring a car. Pihu is feeling drowsy due to the drugged laddoos. He drags Pihu but she refuses to go. The man tells Pihu he will get the car for her. He makes Pihu sit on a chair. She dozes off. Trisha/Nidhi guesses that the man is trying to kidnap Pihu and can be of help to me.
Adi brings Aaliya to a spot that he has specially decorated for her. Aaliya says I wanted to spend time with Daadi. Adi gets annoyed and Aaliya says she is sorry. He tells her that he wants a kiss from her. She closes his eyes and runs away from there. He runs behind her. They spot Pihu sleeping on the chair.
